Message from The President

In 1955, Beckson was founded to manufacture the first dependable, self-priming, all plastic bilge pump. From that very successful product, over the last 60 years, Beckson has pioneered the use of plastics to develop an entire line of specialized pumps which serve a variety of industries, including agriculture, sports and recreational, sanitary services, automotive, dairy, and others. Our registered trademark red and gray colors and T-shape pump handle are recognized throughout the world wherever hand pumps are used.

Beckson hand pumps are also recognized for their superior performance. We’re not surprised by their trouble-free durability. We make them to exacting standards and to comply with appropriate safety regulations. Continuous testing, refinement, and development result in the best product to suit your needs.

You’ll also find pump accessories, parts and other industrial products on our site, as well as tips, safety notices, and directions throughout our pages. Please take a look at what we have to offer you.

At Beckson Industrial, here in Guilford, Connecticut, we’re dedicated to providing the highest product quality, exceptional customer service, and reliable delivery to our customers all around the globe.

What is NEW!

INDUSTRIAL: In keeping with our tradition of responding to our customer’s requests, we have developed a product line that will meet the needs of transferring bio-fuels. Our bio-fuel transfer pumps make it easy to pump or siphon from most 5 to 55 gallon containers into various receptacles and vehicles.

IRRIGATION: Our new adapter for 1-3/4 diameter pumps prevents sand and gravel from blocking the intake of the pump and makes the elimination of water puddles from fields—particularly baseball infields— a “home run” for the grounds crew.

Beckson at 60

Yes... We've been around more than 60 years. You can read about that in this article from ISSA in 2005.
